What projects / schemes / initiatives to support women’s recruitment, retention and progression in STEM are Verlume involved in?
At Verlume, we are working at the forefront of the energy transition, delivering ground-breaking solutions for offshore energy markets. This is possible because we truly value diversity and the ability to think differently.
We chose to join WISE because the campaign aligns to our ethos of championing diversity of thought and background, as well as empowering women to enter and thrive within STEM sectors.
Through our participation in the STEM Returners programme, we have welcomed two new employees as part of the award-winning return-to-work programme aimed at returning highly qualified and experienced STEM professionals to relevant roles, after a career break.
As an inclusive employer, we offer part-time, job share and flexible working arrangements to suit individual circumstances including offering a number of fully remote roles. In 2022, Verlume also implemented a standard working week of 4.5 days with Friday afternoons off, with no impact on pay.
Our commitment to inclusion at PA Consulting and why we joined WISE.
“It is important to us at Verlume that we can provide a supportive environment where different perspectives and ideas can be brought together to encourage innovation. Through joining WISE, we will be connected to like-minded organisations as well as receiving key insights and knowledge from the WISE team about how to continue to inspire women to see their futures in STEM roles.”
