Who are Synoptix?
Synoptix has evolved from a company focused on Systems Thinking principles into an Engineering company with three key pillars to our business: Systems, Cyber and Technology. What differentiates us from our competitors is how we engage in the crossover areas between these pillars, merging our strengths to provide truly bespoke, market leading solutions. Our engineering competence is then bolstered by expertise in commercial, legal, financial and resource, thereby ensuring that the excellence of both our products and services will be impossible to beat.
What projects / schemes / initiatives to support women’s recruitment, retention and progression in STEM are Synoptix involved in?
In the last year, Synoptix has created an internal network for female employees and male allies to connect. The network holds monthly meetings where they brainstorm ideas of changes they would like to see, awareness sessions they would like to plan or attend, and upcoming events for women in STEM. They also hold in-person catch-ups over lunch to allow members to meet in a more relaxed setting. This network is slowly gaining members as the company grows, and we are keen to continue this trend.
Why did Synoptix join WISE?
“Synoptix joined WISE to support the women in our company through access to an online community of women in similar careers, and to encourage male allies. We are constantly open to learning and want all employees to feel valued as their true self, so equity, diversity & inclusion are imperative.”
