What projects / schemes / initiatives to support women’s recruitment, retention and progression in STEM are Synoptix involved in?
Synoptix has an internal network for female employees and male allies to connect. The network holds monthly meetings where they brainstorm ideas of changes they would like to see, awareness sessions they would like to plan or attend, and upcoming events for women in STEM.
They also hold in-person catch-ups over lunch to allow members to meet in a more relaxed setting. As the company grows, this network is gaining members, and we are keen to continue this trend.
Why did Synoptix join WISE?
Synoptix joined WISE to support the women in our company and to encourage male allies. We are constantly looking for ways to learn and develop and to ensure our employees feel valued and supported.
