WISE Organisation of the Year
This award celebrates a WISE Member organisation that has demonstrated exceptional commitment and measurable progress on its gender equity journey across all five pillars of the WISE Gender Equity Framework: Data, Attraction, Progression, Retention and Engagement.
The winning organisation will have shown strategic action, innovation, and meaningful impact — embedding gender equity into its core values, culture, and operations. This includes using data to inform decisions, attracting diverse talent, supporting career progression, improving retention, and fostering genuine engagement at every level.
Nominations for this category are not submitted through the nomination system. Instead, the winner will be selected by the judges from the current WISE membership, based on the key criteria outlined below.
Who can be considered for the WISE Organisation of the Year Award?
An organisation that:
- Is a current WISE member
- Has completed the annual WISE Gender Equity Benchmarking exercise for 2025 or 2026
- Has demonstrated engagement and progression with gender equity initiatives.
Who can submit a nomination?
- This award winner will be chosen from WISE member organisations by the judging panel
- No nominations are accepted for this award.
Key criteria
The organisation must have:
- Completed the annual WISE Gender Equity Benchmarking exercise for 2025 or 2026
- Shown evidence of sustained improvement across all five pillars of the WISE Gender Equity Framework
- Demonstrated actions to advance gender balance
- Developed or engaged in initiatives that inspire others and can be shared as best practice.
Award nomination checklist
Before submitting an entry, please make sure you have the following information ready:
- For self-nominations: Your referee’s name, email address and telephone number, along with permission to share these with WISE.
- If you are nominating someone else: The nominee’s email address, telephone number, job title and organisation name, along with permission to share these with WISE.
- The nominee’s bio as a Word or PDF document.
- Evidence to support the nomination: As documents such as Word, PDF or PowerPoint, video files/links, testimonials, and supporting statistics. (Please submit in a Word document, outlining their relevance to the entry or nomination).
- Organisation’s profile as a Word or PDF document, plus organisation’s logo as a JPG or PNG file format.
