WISE Patron, HRH, The Princess Royal, joined WISE last week for an online celebration event In recognising the 1 million women now working in core STEM in the UK and our incredible WISE 20. We are thrilled that The Princess Royal was able to join us to celebrate this milestone. In attendance were WISE 20 role models, WISE ambassadors and 1 of the Million campaign partner representatives.

I hope women already working and studying in STEM will keep sharing their stories because I have no doubt that those stories will inspire others. To reach one million women working in STEM was no mean achievement and every one of the million can make a difference to the next million.”

The WISE 20 showcase different backgrounds, industries and stories, but are united in their passion for improving gender balance in STEM. They each have a story to tell – one that can inspire more women to join STEM, encourage allyship and show organisations how they too, can be a role model for change
