Breakout sessions

The Breakout sessions are workshop style sessions, with a focus on active participation and tangible takeaways.

Constructive Conflict as a Catalyst for Growth

Session Leader: Steps

In today’s dynamic work environments, the ability to navigate disagreement and foster open dialogue is essential. When individuals feel safe to express dissenting views, organisations benefit from stronger collaboration, trust, and innovation. Embracing respectful disagreement is key to building a culture of authenticity and empowerment.

Using interactive drama to bring behaviours to life, this experiential session will explore how to embrace multiple perspectives and turn conflict from a source of division into a catalyst for growth.

Closing the Confidence Gap: How to Build an Inclusive Workforce

Led by members of the WISE Young Professionals Board

The Confidence Gap refers to women generally feeling less confident in themselves and their abilities than men. This results in fewer chances at success, feelings of imposter syndrome, and playing down their achievements. By taking action to build an inclusive workforce, we can address some of the issues that can lead to low confidence.

In this interactive session we will explore the confidence gap and its link to creating a more inclusive workforce to ensure everyone feels valued and can reach their full potential.
