At WISE, we’re on a mission to drive diversity and inclusion in the UK STEM workforce. As a not-for-profit community interest company, we’re dedicated to enabling and promoting the participation, contribution, and success of women in STEM fields and, as part of our continued growth, we’re seeking a passionate individual to join us as a Relationship Manager, dedicated to nurturing and growing existing accounts and fostering our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).

Why WISE?

Working with WISE isn’t just a job – it’s an opportunity to make a tangible difference to society. As a Relationship Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts, working closely with WISE members (other organisations) and building fantastic relationships to truly understand their needs.

Your role will involve understanding their EDI journeys and helping them address challenges related to gender parity, appropriately positioning WISE services and partners to help deliver value from their WISE membership, as well as ensuring high levels of engagement, organic growth and on-going renewals/retention. By directing our WISE members to the most appropriate services and partners, including additional training and support measures, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering them to achieve their goals.

As a purpose-driven organisation, whilst our Relationship Manager role will have targets, we have a strong emphasis on how we achieve this – working hand-in-hand as a true and trusted partner is key to success, alongside using data to inform our decision making.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage relationships with active WISE members, truly understanding their position on their EDI journey to deliver high engagement, strong renewal/retention rates, and organic growth;
  • Operate as an advocate and subject matter expert for EDI initiatives, comfortable in having EDI-related conversations at all levels;
  • Collaborate with members to identify areas of best practice and facilitate knowledge-sharing opportunities;
  • Onboard new members and establish tailored plans, ensuring they derive maximum value from their membership;
  • Renew existing memberships and explore opportunities for revenue enhancement through partnerships and additional services.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is hugely passionate about EDI and can operate as a true EDI advocate with a background in sales or account management. You should possess exceptional communication skills, be adept at building relationships, and demonstrate a passion for gender equality in STEM. If you’re collaborative, a great relationship builder across all levels, and eager to contribute to our cause, we want to hear from you.

Salary and Location

As a Relationship Manager, you will receive a base salary of £30-33,000 plus annual bonus (up to 15% per annum based on organisational and individual objectives). Whilst this is a remote role, we can offer hybrid working depending on location.
