David is Operations Director for WISE.
He joined the team in March 2023, bringing over 25 years post qualification experience from finance and leadership roles within the retail, food and pharmaceutical sectors.
David obtained a BA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sheffield, before gaining his professional accountancy qualification (CIMA) having joined Boots as a graduate.
Having undertaken a number of finance/leadership roles across the supply chain functions at Boots, both at home and abroad, he returned closer to his roots , providing financial support to the international businesses of the meat free food manufacturer, Quorn and more recently as Head of Finance & Procurement at Piramal Healthcare UK, a pharmaceutical CDMO.
David has served as a STEM ambassador and mentor for the NE Futures UTC in Newcastle and is looking forward to making difference at WISE.
