The answer to the previous question, ‘which of the following best describes WISE’s long-term goal?’ is ‘to create parity for women within the STEM workforce.’
We help member companies recruit, retain, retrain, and progress more women in STEM.
Our work will improve conditions for all minority groups in the workplace, although this is not our specific goal, it is a very welcome consequence of making a workforce more diverse and inclusive.
‘Ensuring there are as many women in senior positions on the FTSE100 as men’ is again not our main focus at WISE, but our work will ultimately increase the number of very senior women in STEM roles and organisations.
