I am extremely passionate about ensuring that young women can get their career no matter their start in life. As a young, single mother I didn’t start my career until I was 25 but now I’m loving what I do. Being able to work for a company that encourages gender balance and gives support for people from all walks of life makes me immensely proud.
I always assumed that STEM careers were incredibly hard to get into and needed good qualifications from school, College and University, which I didn’t have, but that isn’t the case. The apprenticeship I completed gave me skills and knowledge that I never thought I’d learn. I hope that my story inspires others to go for what they want.
