Ursula Tavender is Joint CEO of Flexpo, an innovative start-up organisation that exists to make the world of work more inclusive for everyone through its events, flexible working consultancy and FlexPro®, a software that helps teams have better conversations about how to make flexible working really work for them.

Powerful personal experiences of navigating a career she adores while recovering from her own eating disorder, parenting young children and supporting her husband and family through health challenges illuminated to Ursula the millions of talented professionals currently excluded from participating fully in the UK workforce and the profound need for urgent workplace evolution.

Now driven by a relentless, fiery determination that every person deserves equal access to career opportunities, every aspect of Ursula’s work is geared towards modelling inclusive leadership; supporting companies to embrace flexible ways of working and achieve a true shift in culture so that more people – regardless of their role, circumstances or working pattern – can stay and progress at work.

Ursula also participates in a number of influential government groups and writes, speaks, comments and campaigns for business change on the issues of closing the gender pay gap, flexible working and the future of work.
