Equal pay in SET: Good practice guide

Despite over thirty years of equal pay legislation and many improvements in women's position in the labour market, the gender pay gap remains. Based on mean hourly earnings, women who work full time earn 17% less than men who work full time,while women who work part time earn 38% less.
The Women and Work Commission has suggested that as much as £23 billion could be added to the UK economy if we closed the pay gap – and this good practice guide for SET employers is an excellent starting point.
