MediaPlanet are launching this year’s national Careers in Engineering Campaign on 3rd December 2016 in association with WISE

The campaign is be launched online at yourfuturecareer.co.uk, as an expert-led report distributed within every copy of The WEEK (80% AB readership), to all its 152,000 subscribers and to schools, industry events, conferences and meetings reaching high/low achieving school leavers, top tier industry professionals, women returners, international women in engineering advocates, students, graduates and parents.

The campaign will stand as a unique opportunity to directly align yourself with educational, inspiring and informative content from key influencers within the industry, positioning you as a leader within the Engineering sector. Editorially, the campaign will cover the work being done to inspire the next generation, bridging the skills gap and encouraging women into engineering. MediaPlanet aim to educate the target audience on the career options available within the sector and highlight the different entry routes.

MediaPlanet are offering an opportunity to be aligned next to WISE on a written expert panel via a thought leadership and branding level, this will be focusing on inspiring the next generation of young females into apprenticeships and helping them to explore the benefits of the options out there.

Here are a few example packages of involvement (there are options to be explored);

  • A representative/thought leader/female engineer on the expert panel hosted by WISE– which will be written up in print. The panel will have a number of supporters discussing their success stories in order to inspire Women into engineering apprenticeships and why early careers path is so important today. Focus taken on Early Female Workforce and Early Careers.
  • 700 characters
    • Please note: the interview will take 20-30 minutes with the source of your choice, our journalist will then pull the piece together (typically takes 48 hours), final copy is then sent back to yourself for internal approval
  • Content will go up on to the digital platform
  • 3 Column Branding/Ads Space underneath source of choice
  • Dimensions: 110 w x 83.5 h
  • Print branding will secure distribution through all print channels (including The Week) and targeted events.
  • Introductory digital package, 1,000 guaranteed unique readers (in addition to the organic traffic being generated onto the site- see distribution PDF for further details)
