As an individual in the STEM sector, there are lots of different ways you can help to inspire the next generation – from creating a profile to running My Skills My Life sessions, to getting involved with our different projects.
- Become a My Skills My Life role model
We would like to create the largest database of female STEM role models in the UK, to allow girls to see the vast opportunities available in STEM. We want a range of role models to reflect all sectors and backgrounds to inspire girls to consider a career in STEM. All you need to do to be featured if create a short profile on our platform. Follow these instructions to create your role model profile
- My Skills My Life Full Training Course
WISE offer a full training package for individuals in running My Skills My Life sessions. This covers Unconscious Bias, the background to the resource, training in My Skills My Life delivery and provides additional resources.
- My Skills My Life Ambassador Course
WISE have received funding from the 1851 Commission to train ambassadors to run the My Skills My Life programme across the country. This is a basic course providing you with the necessary resources to run a session.

The My Skills My Life training platform is where you will complete your training, download additional resources and is where you need to log the My Skills My Life sessions you run.
