What projects / schemes / initiatives to support women’s recruitment, retention and progression in STEM are Royal HaskoningDHV involved in?

We have just launched our Mentorship Programme for our female employees to help them grow in their roles and become the future leaders of tomorrow, but to also ensure we have role models, at all levels, for young women to aspire to.

As of January 2021, we will be to partnering with the 1851 Trust for their STEM Crew module as we believe that the engineering industry needs to be without barriers to entry, and often social mobility is one of the greatest.

We are a Royal Academy of engineering Pledge signatory and we are committed to ensuring our industry is represented in its diversity and is welcoming to all.

We have STEM Ambassadors and encourage new graduates to become one.

We celebrate our female employees by entering them for Awards and this year one of our colleagues was the Winner of the WICE Award for Best Woman Project Manager.

This year our LinkedIn campaign for National Women in Engineering Day showcased the work our female colleagues do around the world and across a variety of disciplines.

We are looking into better policies for our maternity returners.

Why did Royal HaskoningDHV join WISE?
