Sizewell C Gender Balance Network
Sizewell C, a proposed new nuclear power station in Suffolk, has the potential to generate the reliable low carbon electricity the country needs for decades to come. It will also make a lasting positive difference to the economy in the east of England.
The Sizewell Gender Balance Network promotes gender balance in the industry and supports the target of 40% women in nuclear by 2030. We very much welcome the support and information WISE can offer us on our journey.
Sizewell C has signed up to the Nuclear Sector Deal target to encourage more women into the sector through supporting a 40% female workforce and 50/50 in apprentice recruitment. Sizewell C gives us an exciting opportunity for more women to join the amazing women in our business already and to develop a team which reflects society – balanced.
