The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Hydrogen (SusHy) is a multidisciplinary centre that brings together world-leading experts from the Universities of Nottingham, Loughborough, Birmingham, and Ulster. Our research investigates hydrogen innovations and challenges to provide solutions that contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions from energy systems.

We also collaborate closely with over 40 companies and organisations to provide the best PhD experience possible. Our aim is to create a gender-balanced team from a broad range of races, cultures, and social backgrounds to help us challenge theories, improve understanding, and design optimal hydrogen-based solutions.
