Who are Rolls-Royce?

Rolls-Royce designs, develops, manufactures and services integrated power systems for use in the air, on land and at sea.

We are one of the world’s leading producers of aero engines for large civil aircraft and corporate jets. We are the second largest provider of defence aero engines and services in the world.

For land and sea markets, reciprocating engines and systems from Rolls-Royce are in marine, distributed energy, oil & gas, rail and off-highway vehicle applications. In nuclear, we have a strong instrumentation, product and service capability in both civil power and submarine propulsion.

Rolls-Royce has customers in over 150 countries and operates in more than 50 countries worldwide. Our vision is to provide “better power for a changing world."

What projects / schemes / initiatives to support women's recruitment, retention and progression in STEM are Rolls-Royce involved in?

We have a leadership model which stresses the importance of having a diverse team and behaviours that truly engage and enable people to perform at their best.

We actively encourage our employees to become STEM Ambassadors championing STEM skills. As mentors and role models, they help inspire individuals and increase recognition that a career in engineering is wide ranging, interesting and fulfilling. It is also critical that we help raise awareness of STEM skills amongst girls and inspire young women to consider a career in engineering.

Why did Rolls-Royce join WISE?
