In the past five years our work has achieved over 25 awards of excellence, a testament to our standing in the industry and great team of people. It's thanks to our staff that in 2015 for the 7th consecutive year we featured in the Building Good Employer Guide. We are an Investors in People (IiP) Champion, guiding other organisations to deliver best practice in People Management and hold the IiP Health & Wellbeing Good Practice Award.
We are a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer and were Highly Commended as ‘Medium Employer of The Year’ at the National Apprenticeship Awards 2015 in recognition of the outstanding contribution we have made to apprenticeships.

What projects / schemes / initiatives to support women's recruitment, retention and progression in STEM are Troup Bywaters + Anders involved in?
Our female apprenticeship intake in September 2015 increased threefold. By encouraging all within the business to become ambassadors we aim to double the overall number of women in our business to 30% in five years.
Our young female engineers are undertaking numerous ambassadorial activities throughout the year including attending careers events in schools to industry events tackling the topic of diversity and inspiring more girls to take up a career in engineering bringing new energy and fresh perspectives to the industry.
In 2015, Caitlin Stuart, won the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Apprentice of the Year award, out of a field of 400 entrants from high profile companies.
