Lesley is an enthusiastic, adaptable and highly motivated senior HR Professional with extensive human resources experience gained across global organisations. Passionate about people and enabling them to fulfil their potential and be at their best at work, Lesley has been specialising in Learning & Development/Leadership and Talent for 25 years in a variety of business sectors; IT, Telecoms, Pharmaceuticals and Defence.
Lesley’s role is to deliver the Leadership & Talent Strategy, which includes; building our organisation’s leadership capability, developing leaders and identified high potentials to be their very best in what they do, designing and delivering on leadership and culture focused projects and ensuring we have a robust picture on our overall succession across the organisation.
AWE has always attracted people who are of a highly technical background; be that Science or Engineering. A key focus of Lesley’s role is to ensure we are focusing our Leadership & Talent agenda on our Technical Excellence as well as our Leadership. Lesley is also passionate about encouraging leaders to build a diverse workforce and invest and develop our future talent.
Lesley lives with her husband and two children in a village in West Berkshire.
