Senior Lecturer in Computer Games Development
£39,190 - £49,604 per annum

The School of Computing and Engineering is seeking to recruit a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer in Computer Games Development. You will have a degree and a PhD in Computer Games (or a related area), postdoctoral experience in the subject and a track record of high quality peer reviewed, international outputs.
You must be able to demonstrate evidence of successful undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in computer games with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
You will need to have knowledge of the entire production cycle of a game development project along with thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, techniques and theories underpinning Computer Game Development.Experience of game design across a wide range of devices is also essential.
Experience of administrative duties and a willingness to undertake administrative duties is essential along with effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and a commitment to equal opportunities and to the development of yourself and others.You will also be able to work as part of a team and be interested in contributing to novel approaches to research and teaching.
