£41,212 to £47,722 per annum

The School of Biological Sciences at UEA is a vibrant community, boasting state-of-art research facilities as well as modern teaching laboratories and is firmly embedded in the internationally renowned Norwich Research Park.

Applications are encouraged from outstanding scientists in the field of Biomedicine.

This appointment will add to thriving research areas within BIO and foster interdisciplinary collaborative work across the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Health and our partner institutes on the Norwich Research Park. You will be encouraged to develop an internationally competitive research programme that complements existing research strengths within the School.

Research areas of interest include, stem cells, developmental biology and live imaging, cancer and cancer immunology, health and disease of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and nervous systems, ageing, nutrition research and gut biology.

Qualified to PhD level and with evidence of successful research activity in a relevant biomedical discipline, you will have an interest in and enthusiasm for teaching and undergraduate learning, and excellent organisational, time management and project management skills. You will also be expected to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification.
