Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Cancer Pharmacology
£26,290 – £32,299 p.a.

The School of Applied Sciences at the University of Huddersfield is looking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Cancer Pharmacology to work on research projects with Professors Roger Phillips, Craig Rice and Jane Owen-Lynch.
The post will focus on the development of novel anti-cancer drugs, determination of mechanisms of action and develop/use novel experimental models that more closely mimic the complexity of tumour biology. A First or Upper second class honours degree in a relevant subject and a PhD (or nearing completion) in cancer biology and pharmacology are essential requirements for this role. The project will involve additional members of the School and external collaborators and therefore you will be expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
