Women@BAM was established to attract, support and retain women and develop their careers to full potential. The group has been instrumental in improving gender diversity internally.
Key activities have included:
- Supporting industry collaboration, we used our WISE diagnostic results to influence a change of our objectives to the WISE 10 steps with 1, 3 and 5 year goals. This has developed into an action planning toolkit for our Divisional Directors.
- Dramatically changed our approach to leading our gender diversity programme to be through senior leaders.
- Delivered 20 forums engaging over 300 employees to raise the awareness of the business case, starting point and future.
- Produced a film to raise awareness of gender biased language and behaviours in BAM.... and much more!
