Linda Miller, Project Manager, Bechtel Ltd
Linda is a Bechtel leader currently serving as Project Manager of Crossrail’s Farringdon station. The Crossrail project is the biggest construction project in Europe and is one of the largest single infrastructure investments ever undertaken in the UK. Linda was born in the USA and began her career as a US Army Officer & Helicopter Pilot. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from West Point Military Academy, New York and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. Linda is proud to have worked for Bechtel for over 25 years, during which she has worked on a new Space Launch Complex at Cape Canaveral, Florida, a cut and cover highway tunnel and bridge in Boston, Massachusetts and many other infrastructure projects. She has a passion for encouraging and supporting women in the engineering and construction industry and actively volunteers to coach and mentor women. She speaks at institutions, universities and in the media about the urgent need to attract more brilliant women into the industry. Linda was selected as one of ‘the 50 Most Influential Women in UK Engineering’ in 2016.
