Prior to joining WISE, Ian spent many years in leadership and consultancy roles. These ranged across several business sectors including, Wholesaling, Training & Development, Transport, Healthcare, Marketing and Corporate Security. Focusing mainly on client acquisition and retention, service delivery and operational efficiency including product development, Ian noticed that organisations with a more diverse workforce were better able to adapt and innovate than those with less diverse staff. During the pandemic Ian decided to actively pursue a better work/life balance and, being the proud father of two daughters, WISE provided the opportunity to do so while promoting something he is passionate about, gender equality.
In his spare time Ian has recently renewed his love of playing music after a 30-year break from playing the guitar.
