We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Business Partner to work closely with the Consumer Supply Chain within GMS. This role is part of the Global Learning & Development organization, and can be based at any of the GMS Consumer sites or GSK Brentford.

You will work alongside other GMS aligned Learning Business Partner roles.

Job Purpose/scope

This role will partner with the Consumer Supply Chain Leadership Team, and supply chain aligned functions, to diagnose, design, implement and embed & grow a sustainable a capability improvement strategy that enables the Supply Chain to be successful.

What are the key responsibilities/accountabilities?

• To ensure all compliance and regulatory capabilities are understood, in place and in use, in the Consumer Supply Chain.
• To work with the Consumer Leadership Team to develop and successfully implement the capability strategy for the Supply Chain. The strategy will cover technical, leadership, business skills, compliance and GSK expectation capability.
• To create a capability strategy that embeds the services, global standards and ways of working of GSKs Learning Organisation.
• To ensure the delivery of the supply chain capability strategy through strong partnership with the broader Global Learning & Development function e.g. Learning Operations.
• Create Learning solutions that enable cross functional ways of working within GMS, and embed end to end supply chain thinking.
• Manage all levels of business unit stakeholders effectively; demonstrating strong business partnering skills and high accountability for the delivery of fit for purpose solutions. Use a high degree of business acumen and commercial knowledge to challenge, influence and make informed recommendations on an ongoing basis.
• Co-ordinate the effective development, deployment and embedding of capability models and frameworks across the supply chain and ensure these are aligned to the GSK framework.
• Monitor, measure and evaluate business impact (using Business KPIs, Gemba, feedback from leaders, feedback from employees, engagement surveys etc) of capability development interventions, taking action as necessary.
• Partner with HRBLs, Organisational Development, Coaching, Global Talent Business Lead, Early Talent and the Business to ensure a holistic and integrated people plan is in place and effective at every level of the Supply Chain.
• To embed a learning culture within Consumer Supply Chain
• Lead by example in the adoption of a customer focused culture by understanding customer expectations, defining appropriate service level agreements and KPIs to monitor and measure the effectiveness of the service delivery and to ensure achievement of global performance measures for the GL&D service model.
• Lead the diagnosis, design, implementation and embed & grow of critical and/or large scale capability projects/ programmes for GMS, identified through Strategic Workforce or Strategic Capability Planning.
• Connect across GSK Business Units to create GSK wide solutions where possible
