Is your organisation wanting to find out more about delivering a successful in-house training programme to get more women in to technology roles?
Are you and individual keen to hear about the opportunities available through training/re-training schemes and apprenticeships?
If so join this WISE webinar to discover and discuss developing career routes into tech.
WISE’s analysis has shown that the number of women in technology roles poses a concern with women representing only 16% of IT professionals; a figure that has remained static for 10 years. With the skills shortages in this area, WISE works with our member organisations to support the recruitment, development and retention of more women in technology roles with the aim of making progress in this area.
WISE members Lloyds and Siemens will share best practice on how they have successfully delivered in house training programmes, bootcamps, higher apprenticeships and more. Plus, you’ll hear the personal experience of Isabel Draper-Edwards, an Associate Softwear Developer at Sky, who moved into technology after taking part in such a programme and the positive impact that this has had on her progression.
- Helen Wollaston, Chief Executive Officer, WISE
- Gill Wylie, Enterprise Transformation Director, Lloyds Banking Group
- Simon Rennie, Head of Digital, Siemens
- Isabel Draper-Edwards, Associate Software Developer, Sky
- Jo Normanton, Group Transformations Apprentice Business Lead, Lloyds Banking Group
