The Skills 4 Award Winning career development programme is available as an open programme through WISE. Delivered over a four-month period the programme equips participants with the tools and confidence to showcase and achieve their potential.
The course is delivered by Skills 4, providing support, guidance and coaching to women in STEM at any stage of their career, looking to move to the next level.

Day One: Confident Communication
The initial workshop examines topics such as gender-smart communication; unconscious bias; difficult conversations and presentations skills. Participants will broaden their understanding of the dynamics of diverse groups and communicate with greater rapport.
Day Two: Authentic You
This workshop explores the importance of image, visibility and effective networking on career progression. Participants will gain the skills and confidence to showcase their talent, knowledge and achievements.
Day Three: Future Focused
In this workshop, women analyse their current levels of commitment, capability and confidence in achieving career progression. Participants to take stock of their career to date and create a targeted action plan for career development.
Day Four: Presentation Delivery
This session gives participants the opportunity to consolidate learning from Day One (Confident Communication) and receive detailed feedback on their presentations skills.
