Senior Team Manager - “Chatty Factories” (Part-Time)

Applications are invited for a Senior Team Manager - “Chatty Factories” post in Cardiff University's School of Computer Science & Informatics. This is a part time, fixed-term post for 3 years, starting on 1 January 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be dedicated to finding creative solutions and have a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm to manage a team of world-class researchers in the pursuit of innovative social and technical research to realise the visions of 'Factories of the Future'. This will involve managing the operation of the “Chatty Factories” team, planning, organising and delegating work, monitoring progress and intervening as required. You will work closely with Dr Pete Burnap at Cardiff University and team members located in Bath, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Lancaster. You will possess a Degree/NVQ 4 or equivalent work related experience.

This is a part-time (21 hours per week/60%) and fixed-term post for 3 years.
The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within the Grade 6 scale.
Salary: £32,548 - £38,833 per annum, pro-rata for hours worked (Grade 6).
