Wise in Scotland

The WISE in Scotland committee consists of volunteers from various organizations who all have an interest in encouraging girls of school age to value and pursue careers in science, engineering and construction.

WISE in Scotland is a national network of good practice and initiatives, and the committee meets every four months. Your organisation is welcome to apply to join the committee, and to contribute to the work.

 
EXCELLENCE FOR EVERYONE EVENT
8th October 2008 at Napier University, Edinburgh

WISE in Soctland invited individuals and organisations to come along and find out about the work already being undertaken and learn from each other. The event was a great opportunity to hear examples of good practice and get a chance to speak to others either currently involved or wanting to be involved in changing young women’s attitudes and aspirations.
 
After the event, participants were invited to continue the relationship and be a part of WISE in Scotland.
