The WISE Advisor Award is open to career advisors, teachers, ambassadors, mentors and educators who have motivated and enthused girls and young women to pursue STEM related subjects. The winner will receive an engraved plaque.

If you know someone who has had a real impact in this area, on one individual, several or many, nominate them now. You can also nominate yourself.

The WISE Awards are a unique annual event, a special opportunity to recognise inspiring organisations and individuals actively addressing the core concerns of WISE: promoting science, engineering and construction to girls and young women. WISE is led by the UKRC, and you can find out more about the awards on the UKRC website.

This year, the Award Ceremony will be held on 19 October 2011 at The Institute of Engineering and Technology, in central London.

If you think that either you or someone you know would be suitable to receive an award, fill in the relevant application form and send it to:  p.dawber@theukrc.org

The deadline for submission of applications is 5pm on Friday 16 September.
