NavyWISE Work Experience 2009
In Febuary 2009, WISE and The Royal Navy are offering 16 lucky female students the chance to spend a week on a Navy ship! This opportunity is open to girls in schools across Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight.
Living on board HMS Bristol, which is docked at Portsmouth, you'll get to do loads of hands-on activities, and learn how the ship works. There will also be female engineers around, so you can learn what they do for the Navy.
As well as this, there will be films and sports activities in the evenings, and a formal dinner organised by the Navy on the last night!
